Where are all the people? Green Sky. Killer Bees. Summer Snowstorms. Isolated in remote regions of the United States, two groups of people weather a freak lightning storm. The storm leaves behind an eerie green sky and strange anomalies. With no cellphone reception, the people must reach civilization before the unknown threat claims another victim. Navy Commander Tom Cassidy is isolated on a fishing boat in the Gulf. Years of leadership training prepared him for this. His ragtag troop includes his girlfriend, her ex-husband, their teenage daughter, a football coach, and a bumbling meteorologist. They must overcome their differences and work together to survive. Reagan, a cattle ranching cowgirl, is camping in the mountains of Montana. She is accompanied by her grandfather, little sister, and her best friends. The tightknit posse merges with a group of ill-prepared city-slickers traveling in an RV. Isolated in the mountains, they search for help. Told from the points of view of Tom and Reagan this sci-fi thriller follows two groups of people as they adapt to the circumstances of their new world and fight a mysterious band of foes.
